An insight into Disney Words That Describe Things (Adjectives) by Grolier – Containing 6000 words divided into 4 functional word groups – nouns, verbs, antonyms, and adjectives & adverbs – these books are a really fun way to develop your childs vocabulary.
According to Grolier, for a child to be able to pick up any book and read it entirely on his own, he needs to have a reading vocabulary of about 5000 words.
